ECONOMICS
FOR BEGINNERS
This project is made possible thanks to the generosity of James Kluttz.
Over 5 million views this year!
In 2020, the Mises Institute launched
Economics for Beginners, a series of short
animated videos that illustrated important
basic economic concepts such as cost,
entrepreneurship, and capitalism . These
videos have become some of our most
successful content, sparking a number
of follow-up series covering various
important issues like money and foreign
policy .
Last year, we added two new series to our
library . Fueling a Freer Future was a nine-
part series dedicated to debunking fear-
mongering myths about climate change
and fossil fuels . That has been followed with
The Cost of the Progressives, which focuses You can view all these videos by visiting mises.org/begin.
on the dangers of statist collectivism
and the devastating consequences of
progressive policies .
In 2023, these series amassed over five
million views across our platforms, with
over 1 .5 million coming from the Fueling a
Freer Future series alone .
