In October, the Mises Institute hosted our 2023 Supporters
Summit in Auburn, Alabama . The event featured over 130 friends
from around the world brought together by a common belief
in the importance of the ideas of Ludwig von Mises, Murray
Rothbard, and the great scholars of the Austrian School .

The theme was the end of the dollar era, a topic inspired by the
continuing inflationary challenges Americans face at home and
the growing disillusionment with the dollar abroad . Twelve of the
Institute’s leading minds talked about the history of money and
banking in the United States, the threat of central bank digital
currencies, the global consequences of the Federal Reserve, and
the potential fallout from the dollar’s decline as a global currency .

Three courageous voices in the fight for liberty delivered the
keynote speeches . Dr . Naomi Wolf kicked off the Summit with a
talk on the horrific consequences of covid tyranny, particularly the
impact that mRNA vaccines appear to be having on fertility rates .
David Stockman, former budget director for Ronald Reagan, gave
a full-throated attack on the American uniparty and the fiscal
insanity of Washington .

Finally, Dr . Guido Hülsmann returned to the Mises Institute for the
first time in several years since covid travel restrictions were lifted
and spoke on the cultural consequences of the dollar and the
generational consequences of a debt-saturated economic system .
