In 2023, the Mises Institute launched the
Mises Apprentice program, featuring five
young and energetic content creators
learning from Mises Institute staff and
scholars . The inaugural class included
David Brady, Jr ., Samuel Peterson, Joseph
Rich, Jess Gill, and Mackenzie Ballenot .

Along with attending monthly meetings
dedicated to professional and intellectual
development, the Apprentices created
content for the Mises Wire and social
media . The 2023 class produced twenty
articles and podcasts for mises .org, with
several ranking among the most popular
articles on the Wire the week they were
published . Articles by Mises Apprentices
were also republished in other outlets .

Social media content from Mises
Apprentices received over two hundred
thousand views across different platforms .
These students also assisted with
promoting events and with other Mises
projects . Joseph Rich organized a virtual
conference on Austrian economics, which
connected Mises scholars with students all
around the world .
The quality of the Mises Apprentices
evokes optimism for the future of the
liberty movement and their passion for
the ideas of the Austrian School and their
professional aims going forward .
