ROTHBARD
GRADUATE
SEMINAR
The Rothbard Graduate Seminar (RGS) provides advanced
students the opportunity to study important Austrian economic
works . This year, thirteen graduate students from nine different
schools explored Murray Rothbard’s Power and Market:
Government and the Economy alongside supplemental readings
from several of Rothbard’s other works, including America’s Great
Depression and Economic Controversies. Under the guidance
of the Austrian School, Drs . Joseph Salerno, Peter Klein, David
Gordon, Mark Thornton, Jeffrey Herbener, Patrick Newman, and
Jonathan Newman, students gained an important foundation

Salerno for future scholarly work by reading and discussing Rothbard’s
systematic treatment of the state and its interventions .
