Education is at the heart of the mission
of the Mises Institute. Mises Academy
is our online education platform
designed for students of all ages. Led
by the Mises Institute’s expert faculty,
these self-directed classes include
readings, lecture videos, and quizzes. Lessons for the Young
Over 2,000 students have registered Economist Why Capitalism?
for Mises Academy courses in 2025.

This year, we revamped the Mises
Academy with a fresh look, 13
remastered courses, and a new course
from Jonathan Newman based on Bob
Murphy’s popular textbook, Lessons
for the Young Economist. The course
is designed to be easily adopted by
homeschool families looking for the
economics they won’t teach in public
schools. So far, 697 students have Economics of Marijuana Money and Banking
enrolled in this course.
